In light of the deteriorating conditions of workers in municipalities in various regions of Lebanon, the Syndicate of Municipal Workers and Employees of the South called on the government and the concerned authorities to improve their conditions.

A traffic accident took place in the province of Jijel in eastern Algeria, leading to the death of three sanitation workers.
