Jordan: Authorities restrict foreign recruitment in some sectors

In order to combat the rising unemployment rate and to address the dysfunctional labour market, Jordan has announced that it will continue to restrict foreign recruitment to the agricultural and industrial sectors. Foreign domestic workers will also be allowed to continue working in the country.
